Slow-pitch softball for men and women in the Williamsburg area who are 50 and older (men) or 40 and older (women).

WSSL is a daytime league. Games are 9am-noon, Tue & Thu.

• Williamsburg Christmas Parade, Sunday, December 7, 4:30 pm, Kaplan Arena Parking Lot 
• WSSL Annual Meeting Tuesday, December 9, 10 am - noon, Powhatan Secondary Clubhouse
• WSSL Gala Holiday Lunch, Tuesday, December 9, 12:30 pm - 3 pm, Brickhouse Tavern. There is parking behind the Brickhouse, across the street, and on the street.  In addition, we have permission to park at the First Baptist Church parking lot on Scotland St.

Other League Information

• At the Breast Cancer Awareness Game, held on Sun Oct 26, the men's team edged out the ladies 21-18. A whopping $13,000 was raised for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation! Many thanks to all who contributed to this huge success in any way. Check out the photos.

Past Highlights

• The league's 3rd Breast Cancer Awareness Game on Oct 26, 2025 raised over $13,000 for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation. Our 2nd event on Oct 20, 2024 raised over $7400, while the inaugural event on Oct 29, 2023 raised over $4500.
• The Virginia Gazette has published several articles about the WSSL:  Feb 4, 2023, July 14, 2021,  Feb  8, 2021, May 28, 2019.
• At the end of the 2020 season, the WSSL held a highly successful All-Star Game on Nov 3, 2020. News coverage included a story by Scott Cash, then Sports Director at 13NewsNow.
• Williamsburg Next Door Neighbors magazine featured articles on WSSL members Jim Ratkus (Dec 2019), John Ancellotti (Feb 2020), Tyler Brooks (Nov 2020), Tom Garcia (Jun 2021), John Stout (Sep 2021), Leslie Revilock (Jan 2022), Dick Hoell (Apr 2022), Scott Cash (Nov 2022), and Billy Moore (Feb 2024).
