Slow-pitch softball for men and women in the Williamsburg area who are 50 and older (men) or 40 and older (women).

WSSL is a daytime league. Games are 9am-noon, Tue & Thu.

Latest News

The 2023 annual membership meeting will be held on December 7 at 10am. League members will be asked to vote on several board members as well as revised bylaws. This revision and an outline of changes are available for review. Members may vote for 2024 board members electronically. After the meeting, attendees are encouraged to join us at Revolution Golf & Grille for a Holiday Luncheon.

WSSL members and supporters walked in the Williamsburg Christmas Parade on Dec 3. Thanks to the band Identity Crisis for joining us and playing tunes along the way.

  • Our end-of-season party on Nov 3 was a big hit. Thanks to Identity Crisis for some great music. And thanks to our eternally gracious host, Mike Sloan, for inviting us to his home.
  • Thanks to all who came out to support the Breast Cancer Awareness Game on Oct 29. It was a lively and festive event. The Dudes edged out the Pink Ladies by the score of 17-11. Fund raising has exceeded $4300!
  • Our annual BRC (Base Running Competition) and HRD (Home Run Derby) were held on Jul 20. Photos are available for viewing and results are listed on the Member Awards page.
  • Please remember To Write Love on her Arms, which provides help for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. See the TWLOHA donation page for more info.

  • Our 2022 All-Star Games took place on Oct 27. Photos from the event are available.
  • The Virginia Gazette published an article about our 2021 All-Star Games on July 14. During the games we collected 338 pounds of food for the Williamsburg House of Mercy.
  • Another article about the WSSL appeared in the Virginia Gazette on Feb 8, 2021.
  • At the end of the 2020 season, the WSSL held a highly successful All-Star Game on Nov 3, 2020. News coverage included a story by Scott Cash, then Sports Director at 13NewsNow.
